The "Aero Track Corporation" was recently contracted to remove the rubber deposits at the runway of PAF Base, Masroor. To remove the persistent layers of tyre marks compounded with the extreme weather effects were a serious challenge The Corporation using ATC R-7 de-rubberising material was very successful in removing the rubber layer without damaging the underlying surface. PAF Base Masroor experience the "Aero Track Corporation" and its de-rubberising material "ATC R-7" was very good. On behalf of all fighter pilots of my Base I would like to acknowledge the services of "Aero Track Corporation" and appreciate their tremendous response to our problem.

According to available information no other firm is in position to develop the requisite item and that deviation in specifications is not possible.
2. It is certified that no other equipment/item is acceptable in Pakistan Navy and the indented spares/stores may therefore be procured on proprietary basis from M/s Acro Track KARACHI.

The Chemical send by you as referred above has been tested on our asphalt runway.
2. The report accordingly is enclosed for your information. We shall consider R.D.R operation when ever the deposits reach critical level.

TEST OF R.D.R CHEMICAL ATC-R-7
SCOPE:-
Runway rubber deposite removal is required to be carried out at each runway when the deposite caused reaches a level where friction is reduced. The reduced friction causes slippery condition during rain, ad poor braking action.
PROCEDURE:-
1) The sample chemical was mixed with water at the ratio of 1: 4 and stirred sell to produce foamy effect.
2) If was sprayed with shower on 10' x 4' rubbery surface toward Runway 04. After 15 minutes, reaction time the surface was washed using P.T.O operated Water Bouzer.
3) The rubber was satisfactorily removed, and no damage was seen / observed. The asphalt surface did not sustain any damage.
4) SIAL, Airport Manager, Civil Engineer R.E NESPAK and Civil Sub Engineer Mr. Nawaz witnessed, the demonstration.

PIA Karachi Flight Kitchen has been using dishwashing and various cleaning agents from M/s Aero Track Corporation for the past two years. These include 1) Dishwashing detergent (Altra Clean ATC- R-10, 2) Stain remover (Altra Clean ATC-R-11) and 3) Rinsing/drying agent (Altra Clean ATC-R-9).
We have not had any adverse complaints and have found the performance of M/s Aero Track Corporation satisfactory to-date.
